MEXICO CITY (Reuters) – An earthquake hit southwestern Mexico on Sunday, causing tremors in parts of the capital, residents said, but no immediate damage was reported.
The US Geological Survey said the 6.0 magnitude quake struck 3 kilometers (1.9 miles) west-northwest of El Ticui in Guerrero state at a depth of 19.8 kilometers (12.3 miles).
Mexico City Mayor Claudia Sheinbaum said on Twitter that an overflight of the city reported no damage.
