Driver Ejected, Killed in Brown County Crash | KTA

BROWN COUNTY, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) – A driver was ejected and killed in a crash in Brown County early Wednesday morning.

Michael Reeves, of Brownwood, was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash on County Road 257 northwest of Early just after midnight, according to a news release from the Texas Department of Public Safety.

The press release reveals that Reeves was traveling south on the road when he lost control going into a curve, entering a ditch and hitting two trees.

He was ejected after being hit and killed. The press release indicates that he was not wearing a seat belt.

A passenger was seriously injured and was airlifted to a hospital in Fort. The pain. His current condition is unknown.
