A little more than 24 hours after the terrible discovery made in an apartment on rue Hélène-Boucher, in Relecq-Kerhuon (29), the mother of the two girls has still not been able to be heard. She should not be able to answer investigators’ questions until Friday.
A letter found in the apartment
Already widely privileged from Wednesday, the track of the double infanticide is no longer in doubt, although the investigations are continuing. A letter, written by this 35-year-old woman, was indeed found in the apartment. Its content shows that it is indeed the prospect of a separation which motivated its passage to the act.
The family does not want a white march or other gatherings
Carried out this Thursday morning, the autopsies of the body of the two girls, who were aged 4 and 6, show that they were medicated before being drowned. Additional analyzes are underway to determine the nature of the products used.
This drama did not fail to arouse fear in Relecq-Kerhuon, and well beyond. Very much in demand, the town hall announces that the family of the two deceased children – moreover “very touched” by the countless marks of sympathy received – wishes to live their mourning “in the strictest privacy”. Also, in order to respect this choice, it is requested not to organize marches or other gatherings.
