Dillian Whyte proved his heavyweight power when he broke a punch machine challenge on Saturday.
After appearing on the DAZN preview show prior to Anthony Joshua vs Oleksandr Usyk, the top contender stepped up to take on the famous old arcade machine.
Despite scoring numerous knockouts with his famous left hook, Whyte opted to use his right hand.
It turned out to be a good choice.
Whyte thundered through the punch and his score soared instantly.
He finished at a gigantic 994, just five out of the maximum total.
Earlier this month, Eddie Hearn pulled off an impressive surprise by beating former WBC cruiserweight world champion Tony Bellew on the machine.
The promoter showed he has a big impact by scoring a higher number with his straight right hand than Bellew did with his left hook.
Hearn hit the punch ball with a crisp shot and scored a staggering 935 points.
Bellew’s score rose to 926 points.
They both fell well short of Whyte’s impressive total.
