Dillian Whyte ripped Tyson Fury over a video that showed his reaction to a post-fight smash after Canelo Alvarez beat Billy Joe Saunders last year.
The Mexican superstar stopped Fury’s friend in May 2021 by fracturing his orbital bone with a counter-uppercut in the eighth round, an injury that kept him from emerging for the ninth.
When the fight was interrupted, Billy Joe’s father, Tom Saunders, tried to reach his son in the ring.
However, as he jumped the barrier from his position at ringside, he was violently pushed to the ground by a member of event security – a moment caught on camera.
As a result, a minor fight broke out with other members of Saunders’ team involved.
Fury sat in that section and tried to verbally intervene and calm things down, but reasonably refrained from jumping into the scrap.
This response did not satisfy heavyweight rival Whyte.
Whyte posted the video to his Instagram Story at the time with the caption, “I don’t care what no one says, Tyson Fury is a loose p***y.
“How can you see Billy Joe Saunders’ dad getting treated like this and you didn’t [anything].
“You’re ab****, talk shit all the time – ‘fighting man’.”
