When historians reflect on the legacy of Donald Trump, I believe his work on behalf of black Americans will be at the top of any list of his accomplishments.

Whether you consider his efforts to reduce black unemployment, the way he championed law and order and made our cities safer, or his work to extend the Republican Party to the black community, there’s no denying that Trump has done more for black Americans than any Republican. president since Abraham Lincoln.

This election cycle, we see the results of President Trump’s hard work in two U.S. Senate campaigns that I support: Herschel Walker’s and TW Shannon’s.

GEORGIA SENATE RACE: HERSCHEL WALKER GETS APPROVAL FROM LEADING ANTI-ABORTION GROUP

Walker, the former Heisman Trophy winner and a professional running back from my home state of Georgia, is the frontrunner for the Republican nomination in Georgia. President Trump was instrumental in recruiting him, approving him early and will be a big part of the reason Mr Walker becomes a US senator.

ATLANTA, GEORGIA – OCTOBER 30: Former football player and political candidate Herschel Walker interacts with former United States President Donald Trump before Game 4 of the World Series between the Houston Astros and the Atlanta Braves at Truist Park on October 30 October 2021 in Atlanta, Georgia.

Shannon holds the distinction of being the first African-American Republican Speaker of the House in the union’s reddest state, Oklahoma. He has a long history of fighting for conservative principles, successfully leading the fight as president to repeal affirmative action in Oklahoma, as well as overhauling the state’s welfare system by mandating a week of 20-hour work for able-bodied adult beneficiaries.

TW Shannon, US Senate candidate from Oklahoma, said the main reason he is running is to protect free enterprise and capitalism.

If these two are elected, the Republican Party will have achieved something remarkable. Walker and Shannon would join Sen. Tim Scott of South Carolina in the U.S. Senate. Thus, Republicans would have three black senators elected – two from the Deep South. That’s two more than the Democrats.

How is it possible? To listen to the Democrats and their media allies, one would think that the Republican Party is nothing more than a bastion of racism that oppresses black Americans. Even a cursory look at the facts reveals that to be a lie.

WALKER’S HAUL: SENATE CANDIDATE’S FIERCE FIRST FUNDRAISER

Democrats bill themselves as the party of racial equality, but it’s important to ask, “Which party is really helping the black community and which is hurting it?”

It is the Democrats who oppose school choice, placing black children in hellish school districts with no chance of getting a good education.

It is the Democrats who support the radical pro-abortion policies that have resulted in nearly 400,000 abortions a year.

These are the Democrats supporting defunding the police as violent crime increases in communities across the country.

Every year, as the Democratic Party becomes more radical and hostile to any thought that does not seem to have been first invented in the faculty lounge at Cal-Berkley, they drive a wedge between themselves and the American blacks.

But they’re not just alienating black Americans — they’re alienating workers from all walks of life, families who are trying to put food on the table and give their children a life, but who are crushed by the Woke of the Biden administration, off to touch on policy making.

We see it at every turn, from the Biden team crafting administrative rules, to runaway spending policies that drive inflation the likes of which we haven’t seen since the Carter administration. , or a persistent refusal to open the American energy sector. What do these things have in common? Awakened policy-making by the administration’s liberals that directly harms middle-class Americans.

It’s why Donald Trump has done so well with these voters despite the media calling him a racist at every turn, and it’s why Joe Biden and Kamala Harris are reeling in among black Americans.
