David Harbor do not think stranger things would be renewed after the first season, and damn it, we’re glad he got it wrong.
The star is preparing to play Hopper in season five of the Netflix series, a phrase he never thought he’d utter. “I remember when we were shooting the first season. We were in Atlanta, Netflix gave us a budget of around $20,” he told the BBC. The only showaccording to audiovisual club. “Halfway through, I remember my hairstylist coming up to me, like about episode four that we were shooting, and she was like, ‘I don’t think this is going to work.'”
He continued, “By the time we were done, we were done, I thought we wouldn’t have a second season, we would be the first Netflix show to never have a second season.”
