Dangerous weather conditions in Europe disrupt travel

UK
A blanket of snow blanketed London and parts of the UK, causing major travel disruption on roads and at airports – with more than 300 flight cancellations.
Temperatures have dropped to minus ten degrees Celsius in some areas in recent days.
There are yellow alerts for snow, fog and frost in several areas, including the south east and south west of England and northern Scotland.
Poland
Snow also hit Poland with delays and disruptions to public transport and roads.
Meteorologists say the country will be plagued by freezing conditions as temperatures drop to minus 10 to 15 degrees Celsius, possibly reaching minus 20.
Estonia
The cold snap in Estonia meant there were more than ten thousand homes without power on Monday afternoon.
Flights were cancelled, trains were delayed and ferries were disrupted by high winds.
Bosnia and Herzegovina & Croatia
Meanwhile, in northwestern Bosnia and Herzegovina and also in Croatia, heavy rains over the weekend caused rivers to overflow, inundating dozens of homes.
A body has been discovered in Bosnia and Herzegovina after a landslide buried a stretch of road.
