Jason Earle“Reflections on a Hannah Montana rebooting will make you say, “Sweet Niblets!”
In an exclusive interview with E! News, the Disney Channel alum revealed he wasn’t ruling out a revival of the hit teen sitcom, but noted that there are possibilities for it to happen.
“A Hannah a spin-off, a sequel or a reimagining makes a lot of sense,” he said. “I think the right people should be involved.”
Specifically, Jason said the show really wasn’t possible without his on-screen sister’s participation. Miley Cyrus. “I think that’s something that might turn Miley on later, but it’s really up to her,” he continued. “She has a much better relationship with the show now than she did when we ended.”
In the 11 years since Hannah Montana ceased broadcasting, Miley got rid of her child star image. A move Jason understands, noting, “She’s really confident in who she is now. I don’t think people just associate her with that thing she was trying to get out of.”
