Arlis appeared on the 11th season of “The Bachelorette” in 2015, posing as an architectural engineer from Chicago. He was one of 26 contestants competing for Bristowe’s affections, although he was eliminated from the competition in the third episode of the season.

Nick Viall, another Bristowe season contestant who later starred in “The Bachelor,” posted a message on Twitter after learning of Arlis’ passing.
