Christie blasts Trump for loss of Georgia Senate

Former New Jersey Governor Chris Christie has denounced former President Donald Trump for losing Herschel Walker on Tuesday in the Georgian Senate runoff.
“We all remember in 2016, he said, if he was elected there would be so many wins and wins and wins and wins that they would be sick of winning,” said Christie Sunday during a panel discussion on ABC’s “This The Week.” “None of us knew at the time that he was actually talking about the Democrats.”
Walker, a former University of Georgia football superstar, was beaten by Sen on Tuesday. Raphael Warnock, a Democrat, in the second round of the Georgian Senate. Heading into the 2022 election cycle, Georgia was seen as one of the Senate seats Republicans were most likely to win midterm.
