Chris Pratt is in an unexpected online feud with a beekeeper!
The actor took to Instagram to tell his followers about a recent incident in which he came face to face with a beehive and said that watching videos of beekeeper Erika Thompson handling a beehive ” had created this false sense of security” in him, leading him to believe that he could take care of a beehive in his garden on his own. It has actually attacked dinosaurs and various alien species before.
“She goes past these hives and these bees and says, ‘They’re very quiet today. I will remove the bee. I’m going to use my bare hands,’” Pratt said of Thompson. “I said, I think I can control bees too, so I saw a beehive two days ago…I just looked at those bees and then one of them came out, and it stung me in the eyeball.”
“So anyway, f**k that lady bee,” Pratt concluded.

As he told the story, he took off his sunglasses to reveal his swollen eye. He gave Thompson a few props, though, tagging her in the post’s caption, writing, “@texasbeeworks you inspire me!”
While the majority of the comments section was filled with Pratt’s friends and fans laughing at the actor’s unfortunate situation, Thompson herself didn’t seem to appreciate his story, basically telling him to stick with the comedy and leave the bees alone.
“Wait, so now you gonna be a plumber and beekeeper @prattprattpratt?! If you leave saving the bees to me and other professionals, you can focus on saving the princess, Mario,” Thompson wrote in the section. comments.
Thompson is referencing Pratt’s last role as the iconic Italian plumber Mario in the new animated movie “The Super Mario Bros. Movie.” The movie is based on a popular video game franchise in which Mario tries to save his love, Princess Peach, from the evil dinosaur Bowser.
The film will feature fan-favorite characters from the Super Mario Bros. video game, including Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach, Bowser, Donkey Kong and the Penguin King. In the movie, rather than Mario trying to save Peach from Bowser, the two travel across the kingdom to find Luigi, so they can team up to take Bowser down.
Pratt is also set to star in “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3,” the third installment in the popular Marvel franchise. The third film will see the return of Zoe Saldana as Gamora, and will be the last time she will appear in a Guardians film in this role, as her character died in a previous Avengers film.
