CHELSEA have officially lost the race to sign France international Jules Kounde courtesy of Barcelona.

The Blues were heavily linked with Koundé until Barca eyed them again.

Meanwhile, sources in Spain now suggest Cristiano Ronaldo’s signing was ready to be announced before Thomas Tuchel vetoed it.
