Bristol Palin documents 9th breast reconstruction surgery

Bristol Palin is resting after undergoing breast reconstruction surgery.

The 32-year-old recently informed her followers that this was the ninth time she had undergone the procedure after a ‘failed’ breast reduction 13 years ago.

“I’m sharing tmi right now but had my 9th breast reconstruction surgery last night yes NINTH,” she wrote on Instagram Stories on Jan. 25 alongside a photo of herself after the operation, “all stemming from a botched breast reduction I had when I was 19.”

As Bristol explained, she “has already had surgeries to try to correct the initial muscle tissue damage and terrible scarring.” However, she expressed her hope that it would be her last.

“Honestly, this whole situation has made me very self-aware my entire adult life,” the former US vice presidential candidate’s daughter said. Sarah Pallin and Todd Palin, continued. “Praying this is the last surgery I need – I hate to whine but it puts a bit of a setback/pause in life and that’s why I’ve been pretty MIA – doing my best to stay positive, hype me up, and remind myself that I have so much to be grateful for: I’m healthy, fully capable, and that’s just an inconvenience because things could always be so much worse .”
