Nearly 300 nurses from the National Education have demonstrated in front of the National Assembly and are calling for a strike. They ask for a salary increase and more recruitment.
On June 10, nearly 300 nurses from National Education demonstrated in front of parliament to demand salary increases, recruitments, but also more recognition for their profession.
“We have long been denouncing the working conditions which […] have deteriorated further with the health crisis, and salaries that are not up to our missions and services that we provide to students, ”explains one of them at the microphone of RT France before deploring the fact that their profession is, according to her, “forgotten” by the State while the government had promised increases for nurses in the hospital and prepares a possible upgrading for the staff of the National Education. “There is a Grenelle de l’Education and we are the big forgotten ones”, she concludes.
