European Central Bank President Lagarde spoke to Dutch media on Sunday, reiterating further hikes to come from the bank.

• “I think we’ve covered a lot of ground in getting inflation under control and getting it back to our target,”
• “We’re not done yet, we’re not stopping based on the information I have today,”
• the “inflation outlook is too high and for too long”.

• “So many things can go wrong that we can’t give what we call advanced advice,”

Lagarde also spoke about the US debt limit talks, saying a US default would spell disaster for the world.
