ORLANDO, Florida. – According to the Orlando Police Department, a 6-year-old boy who was in serious condition after being caught in a roll-up garage door is on life support.
Earlier today, police reported the child had died, but have since issued a corrected statement saying the boy was on life support.
The department said officers responded to the 300 block of E. Concord Street on Saturday morning when the boy was caught in the door. The police managed to get the boy out of the door.

Officers then performed CPR on the child, the department said, and the boy was taken to hospital in serious condition. The ministry said it was a “tragic accident”.
Details surrounding what led the boy to get caught in the door have not yet been disclosed.
Police said the case was ongoing.
