#BookTok: Check out the first look at the red, white and royal blue film

Light some fireworks because the Red, white and royal blue the movie is almost here.

The first look at the film, which will be an adaptation of Casey McQuistonthe best-selling romance novel of the same name, was released on May 24 and is already making history.

The poster shows Alex Claremont-Diaz, played by Taylor Zakhar Perezdressed in a blue suit with a United States flag lapel pin, and gazing lovingly at the fictional British Prince Henry, dressed in royal regalia and portrayed by Nicolas Galitzine.

The two share a smile, with Alex placing a hand on Henry’s knee, while the words “Love whoever you want. It’s good foreign policy” are written below them.

After all, the #BookTok phenomenon Red, white and royal blue follows the blossoming relationship between Henry and Alex, the son of the President of the United States, who will be portrayed in the film by none other than Uma Thurman.
