All Black XV

Wallabies XV

Hello everyone and welcome to the Wallabies vs All Blacks live coverage from Optus Stadium in Perth. The third and final match of the Bledisloe Cup series, and the fourth match of this year’s Rugby Championship, will start at 2:00 p.m. local time (4:00 p.m. AEST / 6:00 p.m. NZST).

New Zealand have already sewn the Bledisloe Cup for the gazillionth year in a row after back-to-back wins at Eden Park, but that doesn’t mean it’s a dead rubber. With the Rugby Championship now taking center stage, there’s plenty to do in the unfamiliar surroundings of Perth’s magnificent Optus Stadium.

The Wallabies have been healing their wounds since the second of those defeats in Auckland, frustrated with performances on the pitch and annoyed by New Zealand rugby. At home, Australia will be keen to assert itself.

The All Blacks will not be complete, arguably the three most important players of the team all remaining on the Shaky Islands with their partners in late pregnancy. Fortunately, Ian Foster only needed to call Barrett House for backup.

I will come back with more information shortly, but if you would like to participate, you can reach me via email or Twitter (@JPHowcroft).
