Pub staff paid in cryptocurrency
A bar in Winchmore Hill, Amersham, named The Potters Arms pub, decided to pay their staff in cryptocurrency, Koda.
Pub owner Peter Gilbert told The Sun: “I’m extremely confident it won’t go badly and for the people who work for me it’s a safe bet. I have enormous faith that it will work.
He added: “Some of my employees have four-figure sums in their little online wallets and half of my village – about 50 or 60 people – is there too, some even walking around in Koda sweaters.”
