A man in military-style gear walked into a supermarket in Buffalo, New York, and started shooting a gun
A mass shooting occurred early Saturday afternoon in Buffalo, New York State’s second largest city.
A man armed with a rifle entered a local supermarket, opening fire on shoppers. The man, dressed in military-style gear, was apparently acting alone, local media reported, citing law enforcement.
“It’s like stepping into a horror movie, but it’s all real” a police officer at the scene was quoted by the Buffalo News.
So far, no official tally has been provided, while various media outlets have offered conflicting accounts of the casualties, with some outlets citing figures of between seven and ten dead.

The shooter’s fate also remains unclear. While local police said on Twitter that the “the shooter is in custody” Police sources told media that he was in fact shot at the scene.
