Ashley Biden diary appears to be real as FBI raids homes linked to Project Veritas for ‘theft’ – RT USA News

A copy of the diary of the daughter of US President Joe Biden has reportedly been confirmed as genuine. The FBI raided several homes as part of an investigation into his suspected theft, media reported.

The FBI raided the homes of two Project Veritas employees on Thursday, according to several media. The raids, which were first reported by The New York Times on Friday, came just over a year after the conservative National File newspaper published the full content of what appeared to be Ashley Biden. While Project Veritas insisted it had nothing to do with the release of snippets in October 2020, it was nevertheless apparently involved in the alleged “flightFrom the 40-year-old’s diary.

Appearing at the homes of several former and current employees, the FBI issued a subpoena with cover letter begging Veritas to refrain from “Disclose the existence of the summons to appear to a third party … in order to preserve the confidentiality of the investigation”, Project Veritas founder and CEO James O’Keefe said in a video message Friday, accusing the federal government of trying to “silence” him.

The case is being handled by the FBI and the Department of Justice’s Southern New York District division, which are agents and prosecutors focused on public corruption, sources with knowledge of the matter told The Times.

National File claimed to have received the digital copy of the newspaper it published from a Project Veritas whistleblower, but insisted they were told the newspaper was not obtained by criminal means. The whistleblower reportedly told National File that the newspaper was “gone to an address where Joe Biden’s daughter used to stay.”

While O’Keefe’s organization – a conservative-leaning nosy group – had refused to release the newspaper, they claimed to know where it was and even claimed to have an audio recording of Biden herself admitting that it was was his. In his video on Friday, O’Keefe said the group had been approached by tipsters who stayed behind. “Temporarily” in the same hotel room as Biden’s daughter, claiming that she “abandoned” the diary.

O’Keefe said PV turned the newspaper over to law enforcement after first contacting attorney for Ashley Biden, who “Refused to authenticate”. O’Keefe said he contacted the Justice Department of his own volition and “Transmitted unassailable facts which demonstrate[d] Lack of involvement of Project Veritas in criminal activity and / or criminal intent. The group said they chose not to publish the diary because they couldn’t verify its content or if it really belonged to Ashley Biden.

Despite initially embracing the agency’s wishes – according to O’Keefe, at least – the FBI visits were shortly followed by a call from a Times reporter demanding comment on the legal process.

The FBI declined to confirm the raids, telling The Times they “Carried out law enforcement activity related to an ongoing investigation” at two addresses without elaboration.

As Ashley Biden’s diary is replete with potential bombshells – including repeated discussions of drug use, marital breakdown, multiple affairs and her issues with her father, who she claimed to have showered with in situations who were “probably not appropriate” – the document has been largely ignored by other conservative and mainstream media. The diary also suggested that young Biden was sexually assaulted as a child.
