rsenal were hit by a selection crisis ahead of Sunday’s North London derby against Tottenham.

The Gunners could be deprived of 11 players due to illness, injury, international service and suspension.

This has raised concerns that the game will be postponed, but if it continues Mikel Arteta has some big calls to make.

The midfielder is a real problem, with Albert Sambi Lokonga being the only senior central midfielder available after Granit Xhaka’s red card at Liverpool.

Ben White or Calum Chambers seem to be the more obvious candidates to step up, but Arteta could come back to a third and play Bukayo Saka in there.

Going forward, Arsenal have limited options and having Folarin Balogun on loan this week hasn’t helped their cause.

Arsenal likely XI (4-2-3-1): Ramsdale; Chambers, Holding, Gabriel, Tierney; White, Lokonga; Saka, Lacazette, Martinelli; Nketiah.
