Hello Arsenal fans
Arsenal have received a transfer boost in their bid to sign Ajax star Lisandro Martinez as the player’s representatives have told the Dutch champions he is keen on joining the Premier League.
However, Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag is confident he will sign Martinez.
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano tweeted: “Lisandro Martínez and his side will be clear with the Ajax board again: he only wants Premier League football.
“So he wants to make a choice between the offers from Arsenal and Man United, hoping that Ajax will let him go.
“Erik ten Hag, confident on this deal – pushing again.”
Meanwhile, Leicester star Youri Tielemans is “fully sold” on a move to Arsenal this summer.
Tielemans is very keen to join the Gunners despite United’s interest.
CBS reporter Ben Jacobs told GiveMeSport: “He’s sold out entirely on a move to Arsenal, so if Manchester United were to bid for Tielemans, they’ll only get him if Arsenal decide it’s okay, go ahead and take the player in. It’s not really a one-on-one.
“I think Manchester United’s potential interest in Tielemans, which has yet to be raised, could just catalyze Arsenal to make another offer or may cause Arsenal to say ‘I’m sorry, but we’re not interested. Go ahead and join Manchester United if you want”.
“But I don’t think Manchester United can beat Arsenal against Tielemans. It is not a question of deciding between the two.
And Arsenal are not interested in signing Bayern Munich star Serge Gnabry in the summer transfer window.
That’s according to Romano, who reports that Gnabry has a new contract offer ‘still available’.
The transfer expert tweeted: “Understand that Arsenal are not working to sign Serge Gnabry.
“He’s not on the list, as things stand – Arsenal are now focusing on different targets.
“Gnabry has a new contract proposal with FC Bayern still available – no decision has yet been made on the players’ side.”
Finally, Paulo Dybala is on United and Arsenal’s radar after Premier League clubs contacted his agent.
Dybala is a free agent having been released by Juventus in the summer after seven years with Turin.
According to La Repubblica, the Red Devils and the Gunners have made inquiries with striker Jorge Antun’s representative.
However, Napoli are also said to be in contention to keep the Argentina international in Serie A.
Reports suggest the Partenopei have been told the 28-year-old is seeking a four-year deal.
And they are expected to pay the Argentine star £5.17million a year, which equates to around £100,000 a week.
But they are also expected to shell out an additional £86,000 in bonuses for Dybala
