Arlo’s new camera line comes at a more affordable price

The second-generation Essential Indoor Camera starts at $39.99, which is significantly cheaper than the $99.99 starting price for the first-generation model. And is cheaper than Ring’s indoor camera at $59.99. For the base price of $39.99, the new Arlo Essential Wired Indoor Camera only gives you HD/1080p resolution, but if you want 2K resolution, you can opt for it for $79.99 more expensive.

Like its predecessor, the updated interior camera offers features like a 130-degree viewing angle, night vision, and a built-in siren. Arlo cameras require a paid Arlo Secure plan starting at $4.99 per month for features like recorded video and setting activity zones.

The second generation Arlo Essential Outdoor Camera is available in 2K or HD, has a 130-degree field of view, and a built-in spotlight and siren.
