In a clip from his new movie “Last Night In Soho” released Wednesday, the haunting voice of Taylor-Joy gives the psychological thriller a haunting, nostalgic vibe.

She plays Sandie, an attractive aspiring singer met by Eloise (Thomasin McKenzie), an aspiring fashion designer who mysteriously finds herself in 1960s London. “But glamor isn’t all it seems and is dreams of the past are starting to crack and shatter into something much darker, “according to a YouTube synopsis of the film.

Taylor-Joy’s stellar turn as a chess champion in “The Queen’s Gambit” made her famous, but she also wanted to develop her own music, she told the Den of Geek website.

She said her family called her the “Duracell Bunny” because of her constant need to perform.

“They say to me, ‘Where do we find the button to turn you off? “Because I’m still singing and dancing and being a general nuisance,” Taylor-Joy told Den of Geek.

“Last Night In Soho” opens October 29.
