Ajax star Mohamed Ihatteren’s car was found ON FIRE in the early hours of the morning.
Police in the Dutch city of Utrecht reportedly discovered the £73,000 gray Porsche Panamera in flames around 3am local time.
Local cops are not ruling out arson, according to Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf.
Police are ready to interview local residents today in case anyone sees what happened.
CCTV footage should also be reviewed.
The incident comes just a week after Ihatteren’s brother Yassir saw his own car set on fire.
Ihatteren, 20, tied the knot with TikTok star Yasmine on Sunday, only to discover his car had burned down less than two days later.
And it is claimed that Ihatteren was subject to “serious threats to his privacy” from criminal mobsters after his relationship with the social media influencer was disclosed by his family.
De Telegraaf reports that Dutch detectives “observed” known criminals “in the vicinity of Ihattaren and his family”.
Although it is also claimed that notorious crooks were in Ihattaren’s car, which was given to him by Ajax.
Reports suggest that Ihattaren is not involved in the crime, but he is believed to know people who are.
Ihatteren is currently on loan at Ajax from Italian giants Juventus, and was forced to miss the Dutch club’s pre-season tour this summer following allegations he was “threatened and intimidated”.
The attacking midfielder is back in training but hasn’t played a single minute of football for the Dutch champions this season.
Reports suggest security officials suggested Ihattaren should not appear for Ajax following the alleged threats.
He is due to return to parent club Juventus in January.
