This Sunday, in Quimperlé, a demonstration called for by the A l’ère libre association, from Clohars-Carnoët, brought together more than 600 people without masks for the vast majority, or social distancing, Parc du Bel-Air , in Quimperlé. In a press release, Philippe Mahé, prefect of Finistère, “deplores the fact that, contrary to the commitment of the organizers, a large part of the demonstrators did not respect the barrier gestures (wearing a mask and physical distancing)”.
In his press release, he specifies that “140 verbalizations for non-wearing of a mask, lack of a covid-19 derogatory certificate or inconvenient parking have been drawn up”.
On the other hand, the prefect of Finistère said to reserve “the possibility of taking legal action against the organizers”.
This Sunday evening, Erwan Balanant, deputy for the constituency, Sébastien Miossec, president of Quimperlé community, and Michaël Quernez, mayor of Quimperlé, had condemned “irresponsible behavior”.
