Ramsey (L) has had so many injury problems this season and has now suffered another setback

Signing from the Italian giants in the January transfer window, Ramsey’s arrival looked promising for Rangers fans.

As he arrived at Ibrox in need of fitness, the Welshman slowly but surely got in shape and started the last five games in all competitions.

Against Braga, in his last match, the three-time FA Cup winner also completed 80 minutes.

And had started his sixth consecutive game against Celtic in the Scottish FA Cup.

But unfortunately, after 40 minutes of action, Ramsey sat down and caused concern from the Rangers bench.

After receiving medical attention, he was unable to continue and was replaced by Scott Wright.

Ramsey looked like he was finally in top form, but now hopes he won’t be out of action for too long

It is now a big concern for him and the club, who hope that his injury will not be so serious.

The Scottish giants are six points behind Celtic at the top of the table with five games remaining and will face RB Leipzig in the Europa League with the first draw taking place on April 28.

It is also a concern for Wales and their boss Robert Page ahead of the June fixtures, in which the Dragons face Scotland or Ukraine for a World Cup place.

The day ended on a more positive note for his side, however, as Rangers pulled off a dramatic extra-time winner to beat their rivals 2-1 and book their place in the Scottish Cup final.
