The video of a woman threatening with a gendarme rifle in Butry-sur-Oise was broadcast on social networks on May 28. Arrested by the police, she is said to be suffering from psychological problems.
A video published on May 28 on social networks shows a woman visibly psychologically disturbed and armed with a rifle threatening the gendarmes on May 14 in Butry-sur-Oise in Val-d’Oise. According to The Parisian, “Two patrols, one from the Auvers-sur-Oise brigade, but also a mobile gendarmerie detachment from Sarreguemines (Moselle) which was nearby” arrived on site very quickly after the call for help by witnesses.
On the video of the arrest taken by a resident, we hear the woman insulting the gendarmes who instead try to appease her while asking her to lower her weapon. The face to face would have actually lasted about fifteen minutes.

A gendarme can also be seen approaching behind the woman, passing through the garden of a property before pouncing on her. During his intervention, a rifle shot went off, but luckily no one was injured as a result of the shot. Thrown to the ground, however, she would then have bitten a gendarme in the thigh.
The young woman was then interned in a psychiatric ward. According to The Parisian, the investigation is now in the hands of the Pontoise gendarmerie company.
