A gray start to the weekend in Quebec

The umbrella will be required for several sectors of the province: showers, clouds and the risk of thunderstorms will be on the menu.

Nearly 60% chance of precipitation will be expected in Greater Montreal, with a risk of thunderstorms in the morning. Those who stay in the metropolis will however be able to see some rays of sunshine in the afternoon, thanks to an alternation with the clouds. The temperature will rise to 28 degrees with the Humidex factor.

La Mauricie should expect similar conditions, with a slightly lower temperature of 25°C.

As for Abitibi-Témiscamingue, we will be able to take advantage of the sun more thanks to clearing in the morning. The weather will be cooler than average with 19 degrees.

However, for the Capitale-Nationale and the Outaouais, the clouds will be more permanent, and they will be accompanied by a 60% risk of rain and thunderstorms in the morning and early afternoon. The mercury should hover around 25 degrees, with humidity, for these two sectors.

Estrie should expect showers and a risk of thunderstorms during the day. The temperature will also be around 25 degrees.

For Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean and the North Shore, showers will also be on the schedule, with the coldest weather in the province at 17°C. Gusts will however be forecast for the Saguenay region.

The umbrella will be especially necessary in Gaspésie, where rain and intermittent drizzle will be expected during the day. The mercury will hover around 18 degrees.
