The Mexican Navy says a military helicopter on a wildfire-fighting mission crashed, causing non-fatal injuries to the five marines on board

The crash happened shortly after the Russian-made Mi-17 helicopter took off from an airstrip in the Pacific coast city of Mazatlan.

The Navy said injured Marines were being treated at a Navy hospital.

Video posted on social media showed the craft hovering and then losing stability, spinning on its axis and plunging into a field.
