A speeding driver in a stolen car swerved down a Chicago street and caused a multi-car wreck in which two people were killed and at least eight others hospitalized Wednesday night, police said.
The two people inside the Dodge Charger were pronounced dead at the scene of the crash in Chicago’s South Side neighborhood of Chatham, Police Superintendent David Brown told reporters.
Six adults and two children, a 10-year-old boy and a 15-year-old girl, were hospitalized with injuries from the wreckage, police said Thursday morning. All were listed in fair or good condition.
